We send a massive  congratulations  to Rob Mercer and the Calne Town Council Grounds Team for their success in attaining the first Green Flag Award for Calne. The cemetery site has met the international standard in the following areas: A Welcoming Place Healthy, Safe and Secure Well Maintained and Clean Environmental Management Biodiversity, Landscape and Heritage Community Involvement Marketing and Communication Management Rob Mercer, Calne Town Council’s Amenities, Conservation & Sustainability Manager said, “ The Grounds Team carry out the maintenance of this space with the greatest respect to those who are laid to rest in Curzon Street Cemetery.
